About apfpm PMO Recognition Award

Given the critical role PMOs undertake in any organization, the apfpm would like to recognize and reward organizations for their efforts in building and maturing their PMO - Project/Program or Portfolio Management Office. The apfpm PMO award is based on project best practice and is an excellent baseline towards recognizing project management capability. By being recognized, your organization will:

Award Level

The award is issued to organizations that achieve a maturity level of 3, based on the 1-5 international maturity scale. This is a great way to demonstrate the organization's PMO achievement via external recognition from a reputable project management body that spans the Asia Pacific.

The Application Process

1. It is the responsibility of the organization to undertake an assessment of their PMO (either Project, Program or Portfolio level) by an independent and credible PMO assessor (based on credentials).
2. The independent report produced by the PMO Assessor (provided it is level 3) is then forwarded to apfpm with the application form and payment of AUD$2500.
3. apfpm will review the independent PMO report prepared by the independent assessor/organizations, followed by a discussion between the organization and an apfpm representative to verify the report and results.
